Your clients may never see where a product was made or tested, but they will always see your label. Planning your packaging before the first order saves time and avoids reprints later.
Start with your brand files
Gather the basics before setup begins:
- Your logo in a high-resolution or vector format
- Your brand colors, ideally as exact color codes
- Any fonts or style rules your brand already uses
If your brand is new, keep it simple. A clean logo, one main color and clear type read well on a small label.
Decide what goes on the label
Small labels have limited space, so plan the hierarchy. Most labels carry:
- Your brand name and logo
- The product name and strength
- A lot number, matched to the product’s certificate of analysis
- Storage and handling details
Final label content follows each product’s labeling requirements. Your dedicated contact sets it up with you before anything is printed.
Think beyond the vial
Labels are only part of the package. Consider whether you want branded boxes, inserts with storage details or a short note to your clients. A consistent look across vial, box and insert makes a small line feel established.
Plan for more than one product
If you expect to add products later, design a label system rather than a single label. Keep the layout the same and change only the product name, strength and an accent color. Your line stays recognizable as it grows.
Design a system, not a single label, and your line stays consistent as it grows.
How setup works with us
Labels and boxes carry your brand, not ours. Before your first order, your dedicated contact walks you through label and packaging options and confirms the final content with you. See the full range on our products page, or start your provider intake to begin.
